Mr. Flip

Da Boogie keep creatin' it.

A native of New Jersey, Mr. Flip’s love for music was born and nurtured in the Bronx, New York. At age 12, his cousin—who once had a record deal with Tommy Boy Records—taught him to rap, sparking a lifelong passion for creating and performing. After spending a few years in Baltimore, Flip returned to the Bronx to form a three-man hip-hop group with his cousin. It was here he honed his skills, perfected his flow, and developed the stage presence that would later define him. Though the group ultimately disbanded, Flip’s creative fire never truly went out.

Years later, while living in Los Angeles, Flip connected with world-renowned DJ/producer Osunlade through mutual friends in the house music scene. At the onset of the Covid-19 lockdown, Flip decided it was time to get back in the studio. He reached out to Osunlade with a simple idea: experiment with making hip-house records—but not in the same way it had been done before. This would be something different, genre-bending, and boundary-pushing. The result was a fresh, next-level sound that merged the swagger of hip-hop with the soul and energy of house music.

Flip’s music quickly caught the attention of industry heavyweights. His tracks have been remixed by hip-hop legend Tony Touch and Grammy-nominated DJ Kemit (former member of Arrested Development). His releases have been championed by some of the world’s most respected DJs, including Grammy-winning Louie Vega, Grammy-nominated Kenny Dope, Idris Elba, and many more—playing his music in clubs across the globe.

On the charts, Flip has made serious waves. His single “Cookin’” hit #1 worldwide on the Traxsource Deep House chart. Other hits like “Dance Circle,” “Drippn’,” “Hit Different,” “Da Boogie,” “Do It Together,” and “Blasting Off” have all landed in the Traxsource Top 10. His release “Underground for Life” claimed the #1 Jackin’ House Release spot on Beatport.

Beyond the club charts, Flip’s music has become a favorite in the global dance community. Dancers from countries all over the world feature his tracks in their Instagram dance videos, and his songs have been used in countless dance classes and competitions internationally—from underground battles to professional showcases.

Flip’s music has been heard globally on radio stations such as BBC Radio London, and he has rocked stages in iconic nightlife cities including New York, Baltimore, Miami, Chicago, Detroit, and at Grand Park in Los Angeles.

With undeniable charisma, relentless creativity, and a sound that bridges scenes and generations, Mr. Flip isn’t just making records—he’s creating a movement.

You are now rockin’ with the best.
